2017!
Hey there! Welcome to our page and thanks for stopping by. When we aren't doing "chores" you can probably find us camping, biking, going to the market, or just hanging out as a cute little family.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. Fortunately, Joe didn't have to work and had quite a bit of time off. We spent a lot of time in Preston, then headed to Salt Lake for a couple nights before heading back to our own cozy beds.

One of the reasons we left the Saturday before Christmas is so we could make it to the 'Christmas Eve' party with the Petterborg's. It is the first year we haven't done it on actual Christmas Eve but it worked out lovely. It made Christmas way less chaotic it seemed.

Christmas Eve was so chill and relaxed. We had fondue for dinner. It was a lot of fun and turned out super delicious. Plus-- an added bonus that my Grandma Pete could join us.

Christmas morning was the usual; orange rolls to die for and biscuits and gravy for Joe. (He is so spoiled by my mom.) Then, off to my Grandma Hampton's. Can I just say how much I love my family. I am so lucky to have such amazing people in my life. Really. It's true. Cheesy, maybe. Whatev.

We also got to squeeze in an early New Year's Party with the Porter's. It's fun to get together with them too. Especially since it seems like the time is far and few in between that we spend with them. The kids got pillows as a Christmas gift and we got a cool rocket launcher too.

And this is [[almost]] all of our loot from the car after we unloaded when we got home. Our trunk and loadtop box were chuck full. In fact, we had to leave a couple of things at my parents house.
