Keni has been following her daddy around all summer for his races and it was finally her turn to give a triathlon a try. She was so excited. It helped that Grandma and Grandpa came, plus Dillan and Bryson. We even talked Bryson in to doing the race! Keni had so much fun. She had to swim one lap (up and back in the pool), ride her bike 3 miles, and finish it off with a a third of a mile run. They let a person ride a bike with the participant if wanted and Keni chose Grandma to ride with her. Bryson and Grandpa rode together.
I love this picture. She's so proud of that number on her arm.
He forgot to take his helmet off during his run. He didn't notice until he had crossed the finish line. :)
