Keni is 6!

Keni had a great birthday. We celebrated all weekend before her actual birthday. We had to be in Salt Lake City for her routine MRI on the Thursday before, so we started the celebrating early. :) After her MRI we headed to Preston to celebrate. I think Keni would have been satisfied if we told her that for her birthday present we were visiting grandma and grandpa's house.

For a few months now Keni has been asking to get her ears pierced. I thought it was a great idea! Especially since her birthday was coming up. So on Friday we did just that. I'll make another post with a video and the details.

For birthdays we don't do friend parties. (So far nobody has mentioned wanting one. Crossing my fingers we can always get away with not doing them. I'm not a party planner. My stress levels go through the roof. Haha.) We let our kids pick a family activity they want to do. Keni picked The Jump Zone since we were in Logan. It was so much fun! Seriously, the whole family enjoyed themselves. We jumped for an hour and then went to dinner at HuHot.

Sunday was the day we left so Keni was lucky and got to open her present a day early from my parents.

On Monday, her actual birthday, she got to go to school. She took cupcakes to her class which she was excited about. She said her class sang to her and so did the whole bus on the way home. She picked a red velvet cake for after dinner which was Aussie chicken, at her request.
