Joe has worked the last few years on the 4th of July so this was a welcomed change. We enjoyed the parade in the morning and went to a little bbq at some friends for dinner. We enjoyed fireworks at dark until the neighbors started a LITTLE fire with some Roman candles. Luckily, our party ran over and started putting it out because they all just sat there wondering what to do. I think they must have had a little too much to drink. That's the only thing that would explain their crazy actions. That ended out night. (It was late and a good excuse to go.)
