I was lucky enough to get to spend six days in Preston this go-around. Zeb flew into the airport on Wednesday morning so Keni and I headed down with him. Joe followed on Friday after he completed a test and a quiz. The weekend went as it always does. We sat by the library in front of our parked truck and trailer all three nights of the parade. We did the carnival thing on Thursday since it's 'family night'. Friday night we just kind of hung out and re-cooperated for a minute, and Saturday night we went to Sandra's to have a little bbq after the parade. Oh and you mustn't forget the Call reunion on Sunday.
This schedule is very typical and predictable from year to year. I love it and look forward to it every year. I love that all my cousins, aunts and uncles, siblings, etc. gather around for the fun. It does, however, crack me up that we park our vehicles over town weeks in advance so we can have the same spot as we always do. :]
The grandparentals... the ones who started the awesomeness :]]
Some of the Thursday night bunch.
Keni chillin' in her stroller waiting for the parade to start.
Bryson and Zeb
Lexi and Bryson playing Rock, Paper, Scissors to occupy themselves until the parade came.
Annikan feeding Keni her first sucker.
Bryson loving the carnival rides.
Catching wayyy too much candy.
My mom and Jan at the BBQ.
A very intense story told by Annikan.
Digging for candy at the Call reunion.
Watching people get dunked at the reunion.
