We really do live in a pretty cool place. I'm very aware that the place we live is also called the armpit of Utah. There are some pretty ghetto things here (ehem-- peoples houses, yards, grammar :), etc.) BUT the outdoor recreation is pretty darn amazing.
We ventured to Jones Hole Fish Hatchery. We've wanted to go since we moved here but it kept getting trumped by other places. Well it didn't disappoint. The first part of the drive is lame but it's like you turn a corner and BAM! it's beautiful. When we were walking around the place we ran into a ranger. He grabbed some food for each of the kids to feed the fish. It was so fun. We went on a hike to the green river too. We didn't make it all the way but we're excited to go with the kids when they are a little older. We made it about half way before the kids thought they were famished. We packed Subway sandwiches so we ate and then headed back. I love exploring all of these fun places.
